Expert online History tuition for AQA IGCSE — covering every topic from the 8145 syllabus with exam-focused teaching.
How we teach History
AQA History (8145) — offered here as our IGCSE-level History course — examines the modern world through two written papers, asking students to explain change, weigh causes and interpret evidence rather than simply recall dates. We teach it as a set of connected stories with arguments at their core.
The course ranges across the era of the world wars, the rise of dictatorships, and the Cold War and its aftermath, building students’ grasp of cause, consequence and significance. Because the papers reward analysis and the handling of sources and interpretations, we practise structuring explanations and evaluating evidence, so answers go beyond description.
Classes are live and small, with close feedback on historical argument and written structure.
