Sociology A Level Cambridge online classes

Expert online Sociology tuition for Cambridge International (CAIE) A Level — covering every topic from the 9699 syllabus with exam-focused teaching.

How we teach Sociology

Cambridge A Level Sociology (9699) invites students to question what they take for granted about society — family, education, religion, inequality — and to back their analysis with theory and evidence. Our teaching turns that curiosity into rigorous, exam-ready argument.

The course builds from sociological theory and research methods into substantive areas: the family, education, religion, and social inequality and stratification. Across AS and A2 the papers reward students who can apply competing perspectives — functionalist, Marxist, feminist, interactionist — and evaluate them with evidence, so we practise structuring balanced, well-supported arguments rather than one-sided accounts.

Classes are live and small, with detailed feedback on essay structure and the evaluative depth examiners look for.
