Urdu A Level Edexcel online classes

Expert online Urdu tuition for Pearson Edexcel Level 3 Advanced GCE in Urdu (9UR0) — listening, reading, writing and translation, fully covered with exam-focused teaching.

How we teach Urdu

Edexcel A Level Urdu (9UR0) is a rigorous language qualification built around three papers — translation, reading and writing; a written response to set works alongside Urdu translation; and listening, reading and writing — that together test command of the language at a genuinely advanced level. For students who speak Urdu at home, it is a chance to turn fluency into a formal, well-graded qualification, and our teaching is built around that.

The course develops translation in both directions, reading and listening comprehension, and confident extended writing in Urdu, alongside the study of prescribed literary texts and films and the themes of Pakistani society, culture and history. We pay close attention to the precise grammar, syntax and register the higher marks demand, and to the structured literary analysis the written-response paper requires.

Classes are live and small, with detailed feedback on translation accuracy, written expression and literary response.
