Law A Level Edexcel online classes
Expert online Law tuition for Pearson Edexcel International Advanced Level in Law (YLA1) — both papers covering the English legal system and substantive law in action.
How we teach Law
Edexcel International Advanced Level Law (YLA1) is built on two papers — Underlying Principles of Law and the English Legal System, then The Law in Action — a structure that pairs legal theory with its practical application. Our teaching follows that pairing, grounding students in the principles before putting them to work.
The first paper ranges across law-making and statutory interpretation, judicial precedent and the role of equity, the court hierarchy and routes to justice, and the theories of law and justice — positivism, natural law, utilitarianism — that sit beneath them. The second applies the law in detail: the formation and terms of contracts and the Consumer Rights Act 2015, negligence and criminal liability, property and fraud offences, and human rights under the Human Rights Act 1998. We connect doctrine to application throughout, since that is exactly what the papers test.
Classes are live and small-group, with detailed feedback on the extended, well-reasoned answers this qualification rewards.
